Ohajiki Sea Glass Cabinet Knobs take their inspiration from the Japanese children's game played with flat marbles. Vintage glass Ohajiki pieces that have fallen into the sea and are later found on the beach are known as Ohajiki sea glass. These knobs take the feel of textured Ohajiki sea glass and transform it into strikingly fascinating cabinet hardware (although please note this is not found sea glass).
Each cabinet knob / drawer pull is made from an approximately 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" piece of frosted textured "beach" glass. Each piece has been carefully patterned and kiln annealed, and has smooth, rounded edges. The glass is then permanently affixed to cabinet hardware, and includes a standard 8-32 threaded 1" screw. There are several hardware types and finishes available for special order.
Price is per piece. Please see www.beachyrustica.com for my full hardware line. Contact me for custom orders, alternate colors, or more information.
